Dani has worked as a professional animator for 15 years, in both 3D and 2D on projects big and small. As a user of both Toon Boom, TV Paint, Maya and Moho she is well placed to assist people transitioning from other software too.
She has mentored animators for several years as well as hosting the excellent Retakes podcast.
She says she is happiest when in the flow of making great animation and helping others make their own ideas come to life. During the weekend she can be found kayaking the wild waters of Wales and doing silly things like ice baths.
The course can be taken in just 4 hours a week, although the longer you can give to your project, the better you'll become! Our private Discord server is there for you beyond the course, to continue your learning and making connections.
There is only one, optional live call, with everything else being available on-demand, 24/7. So you can study and practice at a time that suits you!

Each week has around 10 lessons a week with a very short intro and debrief. There's roughly 2 hours of material to watch then 2 hours of practice time, although the final week takes on a larger project, so expect more there! We also give you a bonus week which you can use to finish things off. All in all, it's a very streamlined, part time course that can be done on a few evenings or a Sunday afternoon.
